Prichard is a city in southern Alabama, in Mobile County. The County Seat of Mobile County is Mobile. Jimmie Gardner is the mayor of Prichard, and the population of the town 22.659 people. The mayor’s office is in City Hall, which is located on East Prichard Avenue.

The Mobile County Metro Jail is managed by the sheriff’s office and typically houses about 1,500 inmates each day. The jail is located on St. Emanuel Street.
