The Cherokee County Detention Center is located on the premises with the sheriff’s office and can house 114 inmates. The detention center employs approximately 20 staff and correction officers. Each inmate is allowed one 15-minute video visit per week, which must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Harley Lamey is the Chief of Corrections.
