The Autauga Metro Jail houses approximately 160 inmates and is headed by the Jail Warden Captain Larry Nixon. Visitation is on Saturdays and Sundays, with the time depending on the pod location of the inmate. Visitors must be on the inmate’s visitor list, and visitors must be at least 16 years old. Each inmate is allowed one 30 minute visit, with up to 4 visitors in a single visit.
