Hollywood is a town in northeastern Alabama, in Jackson County. Scottsboro is the County Seat of Jackson County. Hollywood has a population of 1,000 residents, and the mayor is Jerry Adkins. The town offices are located on US Highway 72.

Divisions within the sheriff’s office include administration, dispatch, jail, narcotics, patrol, and investigations. The jail is on the premises with the sheriff’s office and is headed by Chief Warden Betsy Gentles. The jail employs 36 full-time staff members and can house over 200 inmates.
