Loxley is a town in Baldwin County, Alabama, in the southern part of the state, close to Mobile. Bay Minette is the County Seat of Baldwin County. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Command is responsible for the jail, and can house up to 700 inmates. Major Jimmy Milton is the Assistant Chief Deputy for the Corrections Command. Inmates can receive visitors on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays, within certain time frames. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance, by calling 251-580-2581 on Mondays and Thursdays from 12-3:30 pm and 4:30-8 pm, or Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30-11 am and 12-3 pm. Each inmate is allowed two 30-minute visits per week, with up to 4 visitors per visit. Visitors must be on the approved list.
