The inmates are housed by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, which is led by Sheriff Ana W. Franklin. The sheriff’s office is located in Decatur, and the Morgan County Jail is at the same location as the sheriff’s office.
Visitation for inmates is held Monday-Friday from 8-10:45 am and 12-3:45 pm, Saturday from 8-10:45 am and 12-2:15 pm, and Sunday from 9-10:45 am and 12-3:45 pm. Inmates are allowed 3 visits per week. Visitation is on a first come, first served basis.
