Divisions of the department include uniform, investigations, civil, training, and corrections. The office employs 71 deputy sheriffs.

The correctional facility employs 60 correction officers and typically houses more than 300 inmates at any given time. No contact visitation is allowed with inmates, and video visitation is the only method allowed. Inmates are allowed one 30-minute visit (total time) with up to 4 visitors per week.
