The Walker County Jail is a 250-bed facility that houses individuals arrested by local law enforcement agencies and those sentenced to serve time in the facility. It includes 128 bed housing units, 31 bed maximum security units, 20 bed female housing units, and 35 bed minimum security units. The Jail Administrator is Richard Calloway.
