The Corrections Division of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is under the supervision of Captain Russell Bedsole. This division is responsible for the care, custody, and control of the inmates housed in the Shelby County Jail. This is a 55-bed facility which houses local, county, state, and federal inmates who have either pre-trial or convicted status.
