The Talladega County Jail is located on Renfroe Road, and the Jail Administrator is Captain Ron Smith. The jail has a capacity of 485 inmates, and employs 50 corrections officers. Only video visitation is permitted and visits can only happen during the hours of 8:00 am to 11:30 am., 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Only one 30-minute visit is allowed per inmate per day.
